These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TellandReview (the “Site”), operated by Alper Cihanlı (individual site owner) (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1) Who We Are & Contact

2) What This Site Does (Scope)

We publish product reviews and buying guides for consumer electronics and household/auto accessories (e.g., PCs, dashcams, small appliances). We do not provide medical, health, legal, financial, or other professional advice. The Site is informational only.

3) Affiliate Disclosure (Amazon)

We participate in the Amazon Associates Program.
As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Some outbound links on our pages are affiliate links. This does not change your price. Purchases, fulfillment, returns, support, and warranty are handled by third-party retailers (e.g., Amazon) under their own terms and policies. We do not display price or stock on our Site; availability may change at any time on the retailer’s website.

4) Editorial Independence & Sponsored Content

Our opinions are our own and affiliate commissions do not influence our coverage. If any content is sponsored or includes paid placement, it will be clearly labeled as such.

5) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate applicable laws or third-party rights;
  • Upload/post unlawful, defamatory, hateful, infringing, or invasive content;
  • Interfere with Site security or attempt to reverse engineer;
  • Use automated tools that may harm or overload the Site (ordinary search engine indexing excluded).

6) User Submissions (If Any)

If you submit comments, reviews, or feedback:

  • You are solely responsible for your submissions.
  • We may remove content that violates these Terms or our community standards.
  • For alleged IP infringements, see Section 15 (Copyright / Notice & Takedown).

7) Intellectual Property

All texts, graphics, logos, and other content on the Site are owned by Alper Cihanlı or their respective rights holders and are protected by law. You may not copy, distribute, mirror, or create derivative works without prior written permission. Third-party names, logos, and product images are used for identification only and remain the property of their owners.

8) Third-Party Sites & Services

The Site links to third-party websites (e.g., Amazon). We do not control and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, policies, or security. Your dealings with third parties are solely between you and them.

9) Privacy & Cookies (EU/UK/US)

Personal data processing and cookie use are described in our Privacy & Cookies Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference. Where required by law (e.g., GDPR/UK GDPR, ePrivacy), we obtain consent for non-essential cookies/trackers. See our banner/settings and policy for details.

10) Children

Our content is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided data, please contact us.

11) Availability, Changes, and Maintenance

The Site and its content may be updated, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. We may modify these Terms; the updated version becomes effective upon posting with the “Last updated” date above.

12) Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted, timely, or error-free operation.

13) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alper Cihanlı shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of—or inability to use—the Site, links, or content.

14) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alper Cihanlı from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

15) Copyright / Notice & Takedown

If you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, email us at privacy@tellandreview.com with:

  • Your name and contact details;
  • A description and URL of the allegedly infringing material;
  • A good-faith statement that you are the rights holder or authorized agent.

16) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye (without regard to conflict-of-laws rules). Courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Çağlayan) shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

17) Entire Agreement; Severability; Waiver

These Terms (together with our Privacy & Cookies Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver.

18) Electronic Communications & Language

When you use the Site or email us, you agree to receive electronic communications. The English version of these Terms controls where translations differ.
